 Dualsky Balancer - How it works:
The 3S balancer for 3 cell packs (11.1v), ensures that the total volt value is settled to 12.6V during charging. If the volt of one cell is over 4.25V, the balancer will begin to work. It will help the cell to consume the unwanted volt, but the other two cells are still charging. Once the total volt value is up to 12.6V, it will stop charging.
The first time you use the balancer, you may find the voltage of individual cells is different, but after 3 times or more, you will find the voltage of the cells is very close. So it can protect the cells from over charge and also balance the cells voltage.
The 2S balancer, for 2 cells pack, (7.4v) has the protect function, but not balance function. Also works with other LiPo packs such as KoKam.
